QA Manager

Mayvue is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead a team dedicated to driving testing excellence and maintaining superior product quality. The QA Manager will oversee and implement effective test strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance standards, with a particular focus on our SaaS products hosted in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working collaboratively across multiple departments within Mayvue, including software development, product owner, and operations teams, to ensure application requirements are concise for QA to create test plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead comprehensive testing strategies for Mayvue’s SaaS applications.
• SQL/SQL Developer experience to write basic queries for testing.
• Establish and refine formal QA processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks to improve test efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with software development, product management, and operations teams across Mayvue to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance processes.
• Oversee the execution of functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and client-specific requirements.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvements and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage QA resources, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Regularly report on quality metrics and QA performance to Mayvue’s senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership position.
• Manual testing experience and experience setting up automation tests
• Extensive experience testing SaaS applications hosted in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proven ability to define and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated collaborative experience with agile software development teams.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
